thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 18, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy uncarbonated dark yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was malty and mild fruit. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and wheat. An OK brew just nothing special. blankboy (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 26, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Pours a very murky yellow-gold with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, banana and citrus -- simple but pleasant. Flavour, unfortunately, has a surprising amount of grain and some faint hops -- it doesn’t do much for me. Light to medium bodied. I found this to be only O.K. due to the underwhelming flavour. tupalev (2267), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 25, 2006 Draught at the brewpub, Michigan Trip ’06. Hazy dark yellow, small white head. Some banana, yeast, hops, and lemon in nice aroma. Decent taste, grainy, some hops, but not as good as the aroma suggests. Refreshing. GregClow (2299), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 24, 2006 Draught sampler at the brewpub. Hazy yellow-gold. Mellow flavour with a lot of banana and hints of clove and yeast. Those notes also come through in the flavour, along with a bit of lemon. Body is a little light, but it’s otherwise a pretty nice hefe. HogTownHarry (3141), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jul 24, 2006 Updated: Jul 26, 2006Draught. At the brewpub with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev. Murky yellow with a smallish white draught head. Sweet and fruity (banana, orange), extremely malty with nice spice and yeast character, just enough citrus tang to keep it from being cloying. Taste followed right on from the nose (eww!!) a little grainier and some bitterness in the finish - very nice. Average body, mouthfeel was not too sticky, with a nice zing in the finish - very refreshing hefeweizen.
