On tap: The aroma consists of pine and light sweet citrus. It’s a transparent amber with a small soapy head that leaves a some nice lacing. The flavor starts with sweet citrus and faint toastiness. The finish has moderate pine and light grapefruit. Overall, a solid piney IPA. I prefer citrus/grapefruit driven IPAs.

draft... dark clear gold, a bit too dark... average and forgettable IPA a bit too hoppy for what its supposed to be

22oz at the brewpub. I have to say this tasted really good after sucking down 22ozs of the nasty, soap flavored wit beer, Witface. At the end it was probably an unremarkable IPA that was drinkable yet uninspired. But it at least killed the soapy flavor of the wit, and for that, I thank you.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a slightly cloudy orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops flavor that has citrus and pine notes. Sweet malt underneath. The finish is short and hoppy. Decent overall.

GLBN IPA Challenge 2011, copper colored pour, decent hop presence that gets somewhat overwhelmed by the strong malt backbone. Toffee, buttery maltiness. Decent, needs a bit more hop oomph

I had this on tap at the brew pub. This is a local brewery that I’ve been to a few times, and while the food has been great, the beer is just a little above average. This IPA was solid, but nothing too special. A good refreshing ale, perfectly suited to the masses. Cheers!

A nice little beer. Cloudy and grassy with a medium hop bitterness. Not much citrus notes. Quite drinkable but nothing to go out of your way for.

On Tap. Little head, and deeper malty color than a typical IPA. Resinousy sweet sticky falvor, and a stong hop presence, A decent IPA, but needs a little more overal balance to enhance the complexity.
