draft... a really sweet phenolic trilpel, too sweet for my liking, alcohol is hidden well though

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. Medium body with flavors of bananas, sweet spices, malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

This is a great beer. It has a great sweet and fruit taste at the end. It may be high in alcohol but you cannot tell. There are hints of banana at the end. If you like Dragonmeads Final Absolution this may be better.

MBGF Summer09. Poured a hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus, clove, yeast and banana aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy yeasty sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Refreshing brew that is standout for style.
