Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 29, 2005 Lasting meringue head stays on top of the cloudy pale gold hue. Extremely aromatic for a wit, the esters are powerful bringing forth the banana notes like it’s a live or die matter. Obvious fresh wheat character blends naturally with the coriander. Rather complex, creamy, orangey, lemony tartness. Refreshing, fruity and lively. Fresh cut grass hoppiness joins toward the finish and conclude well. Excellent balance. Light-medium bodied, rather heavy carbonation that settles after a few minutes. Remarkable wit. hopdog (4654), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 8, 2006 On tap at the Bastone Brew Pub. Poured a medium and lightly hazy yellow color with a very small sized white head. Aromas of spices, wheat, and bananas. Tastes of bananas, spices, light lemons, and wheat. Light lacing left on the glass. Thin body. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jul 30, 2005 Sampled draught at the Michigan Brewers Fest. Yeasty-orangy nose, fairly doughy and dry, emanates from the cloudy light yellow-gold body with a wisp of lasting head....light spiciness in the sour wheaty body, touch of vanilla nd honey sweetness...refreshing fairly dry body with moderate to full carbonation...pleasant but for me nothing really special. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 2, 2005 Fresh cookie-dough, herbal, wheat aroma with light citrus and spices in the aroma. Opaque straw yellow with low cover of white head that recedes with light lacing. Wheaty, fresh flavour with some coriander spiciness in the finish. Creamy texture with good strong, crisp carbonation. Sampled at the Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival 2005.
