COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our wheat beer is made with wheat ... really. But thatís not what makes it great. What makes it great is the Amarillo hops which give it a light lemon aroma. Itís an American style wheat made with American wheat yeast in America ... right here in the Heartland.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Golden pour with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat, yeast and lemons. The flavor is more of the same with a lot of lemony wheat notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Sampled at Wolfbrau. It poured a yellow cloudy color with a small white head. The aroma was of yeast, citrus, lemon and some grass. The flavor was of hay a little banana, citrus and some bread. A decent Wheat Ale.

The 22 oz bottle was courtesy of Strykzone. Pours a hazy funky orange color with a small white head and light lacing. Nose is odd, with some sense of rotting fruit. Medium in body. Moderate carbonation. Flavor is better than the aroma. You get banana and ripe fruit. Overall not very impressive, and you almost have to hold your nose to drink it.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange tinged gold with a transient white head. Very light citrus aroma - and arguably some wheat. Near med body. Flavor is rather bready, with some citrus, and a hint of burnt sugar? Ends up wheaty/bready with a litle bitterness. And the citrus aspect keeps coming back. So does that brown sugar note. Very different.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. This beer was fairly cloudy and had a very small head. This is a wheaty beer that throws some nice hops and more malt that is typical for effect. It is a different kind of beer. Flavors include banana, lemon, grass, and bread. It isnít a great beer but is fun to try.

Pours hazy amber/orange with an instantly leaving white head. The aroma has ripe banana, brown sugar, odd fruitiness ~ not what I expected at all. It is a bit more full that expected for a wheat ale and very slick with very minor carbonation. The flavor starts out with the same traits listed for the aroma along with a light bit of spice and citrus. There is also a bit of plasticy band-aid sort of taste. The finish is on the spicy side. This is the first bottling of the beer from a very new brewery, so Iíll give another shot after theyíve had time to tweak things.

Sample from a 22 oz. bottle at TWCP Beerfest 2011. Another first rating for this beer from Bat Creek. I guess thatís what I get for seeking out the new guy right away. Pours a somewhat cloudy yellow color with a small bone white head that settles into a thin film. Aroma of lemon citrus, sweet bready malts, wheat, straw, and banana. Flavor of sweet bready malts, mild coriander-like herbs, straw, wheat, and dry dough. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, bready mouthfeel. Really solid wheat ale.
