Black as the oil stains that once graced the floors of our beloved machine shed turned brewery, this cream stout was our first attempt at brewing a real beer. We use roasted and chocolate malts to give it the rich dark color and to balance out its delicate sweetness. After just one sip we’re certain it will become one of your favorites, just as it is ours.

Bottle from gregwilsonstl, thanks for the opportunity! Dark brown with faint garnet at the edges. Rich chocolate maltiness with some roast and dark pitted fruits for good measure. Tasty easy drinking stout!

bomber from strykezone. not a bad beer, but not a good stout. nice aroma that has some chocolate - fake milk chocolate smell. nice app. a thin stout and taste just wasn’t there - thin and aftertaste was slightly astringent and very bland.

22oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours black with a half finger off white head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee....and some green apple, uhoh. Loads of coffee and chocolate and a whole mess of green apple in the taste. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Good beer, but definitely infected. I won’t subtract anything due to that as the bottle is past its prime. If I would have drank this when I should have, I probably wouldn’t even have known.

Tasted on draft at 2015 St. Louis Microfest in a willi becher glass. It poured an opaque black colour with persistent beige foam and lace. Grainy, toasty, roasty. Good blend of hops bitterness and burnt grain bitterness. True to style Irish stout, but nothing memorable. Light body, dry finish. Good not great.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 Pours dark ruby red with a nice tan head. Aroma is dark fruits and roasted malt. Taste is the same...not good cold, but does have a nice coffee bitterness on the back end. A decent stout, nothing earth-shattering.

It has cola pour with red edges and big, tan head. The aroma has light chocolate and caramel with sugary raisins. It has a medium body with somewhat creamy texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a mildly dry finish.

Bottle in trade from Strykezone. Thick tan head over dark, oily body. Creamy and rich. Roasted malts coming through heavy. The sweetness is nice hear. Lots of carbonation on this one. Could have done with a bit less. Overall pretty good.
