Cask; Seasonal - September & October.
From 2011 this is a different beer to the original Autuman Fall, which was reformulated and relauched as a year round beer called All Seasons.

Hops: Goldings, Styrian, Challenger
Tasting Notes: Delightful mellow ale with taste of oranges & pear drops. A traditional beer style made with a blend of different malt giving a roast coffee character.

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours a dark amber brown with a decent head and a slight haze. The nose has a little spice along with expected biscuits and some toffee. The taste has more biscuits and toffee with some of the spice again, which I associate with rye. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy elegant texture and an easy drinking finish. Overall, a good session ale and would probably have a second but beyond that .........

Dark brown colour. Some dark malts. Quite sweet and fruity with some toffee and perhaps a bit of spice lingering in the background.

On cask at Greyhound Inn, Coventry - Muddy brown body, white lacing head. A bit tart on the nose, oranges and mandarins, a bit of bubblegum too. A decent rich mouthful of roasted malts, fennel and oranges once more. Lasting finish, a little on the bitter side.

No. 1 Refreshment Room, Cleethorpes, 31/08/13. Pale chestnut utterly sodden with cream lace. Nose English country lane on a dismal wet afternoon with a train passing by. Eggs. Match box strike pad. Monster Munch afters. That creamy aniseed Batemans thing. Biscuit crumbs. Onwards.

Cask (handpump) @ Pelton Arms, 23-25 Pelton Road, Greenwich, Greater London, England SE10 9PQ.

Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing to lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark spicy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, fruity, spciy, nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20121202]

Tasted this in Tennents Bar, Glasgow in November 2012. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear dark garnet in colour with a thick creamy off white head. Slight note of roast malt in there along with sweet berry fruit. Thin but creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Dark malts give a fruitloaf base with tart redcurrant and pink grapefruit evident. Strong hop prickle noted in the dry bitter aftertaste, long in intensity. Finish is malty with a strong woody oak cask note left in the mouth. A decent autumn session ale but not that outstanding though.

A nice dark ruby with a thick beige head. Aroma was mild maltiness and a little caramel. Taste a mild bitterness with some malt and hops. Pleasant enough.

Pint @ Wee Howff , Paisley. Dark tan - cloudy I’d say. Bitter toffee taste. Lingering (enter bad word here) aftertaste . Not one I would recommend.

Cask in the Windsor Castle W8. Clean, bright reddish brown colour with a thin foam, looks great. Fruity malt aroma. Slight soft grain on initial taste, then sweetish and slightly juicy fruit, medium finish. Anice autumnal beer -the Batemans house character is well suited to this style of beer.

Cask@thefoxglove, kirkburton. Very dark amber colour medium head with excellent retention and lacing. Dark toffee aroma. Taste is of dark berries and caramel. Smooth and soft on the palate. A good pint, detonate autumn ale.
