(July 2008) - Good looking copper with a good dense head. Slightly hoppy scent with some nuts. Bitter. A very sour hoppy front and a fruity bitter end with slight dryness.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden with a sweet floral hop aroma. Some fruit in the taste, followed by a good bitter finish. I rather like these monthly ’mystic brews’ from Batemans, despite the fact that this one is bizarrely named.
