COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: pasteurised. Bottled by Marston’s.
Combined Harvest is a unique combination of brewing worts, or extracts from a variety of cereals. Most premium ales are brewed only using malted barley, but this multigrained beer has a unique multigrain blend of malted barley, oats, rye and wheat. Grainy tasting with a delightful floral start and finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear copper colour with thin soapy head. Aroma is hoppy, malty and there is some hay/straw. But the taste is great. Really nice and hoppy. But an interesting after taste of banana? Really liked this.

Malt heavy aroma, but the flavour lacks any real interest. Wouldn’t want more than one of these.

Apparently this beer won a prestigious gold medal back in the day, but I just don’t get it. First, English ESBs, Premium Bitters, Pale Ales, and IPAs are all just meh in my opinion. I’ve yet to have a good one. Always too malt heavy, hops subdued. WTF?!

Nice concept but bland brew. No malt flavors beyond the English hops. Thin body without much head.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Pours rusty to yellow with a quick disappearing head, aroma of diacetyl, toffee and malt, flavor is malty with diacetyl, toffee and sweetness, light bodied.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy golden with no head. Very oxidized and stale aroma of cardboard, honey and some rotten fruits. Sweet flavor of cardboard and honey. Medium-bodied. Really oxidized and unpleasant.

Golden colour with a marshmallowy white head and definite sparkle. There are aromas of citrussy mandarin and spicy grains. The flavour brings out the spicy rye and gentle graininess. An interesting beer, but light and approachable. Good for ruminative autumnal afternoons.

Undated 500ml(?) bottle served in a snifter. Body is a nice medium orange-brown, but the head is small and rather weak. Aroma: good aroma similar to a regular brown ale, Flavor: to my surprise, I believe the multi-grain origin is quite apparent; suggests multigrain bread, particularly in the aftertaste. Certainly has way more complexity than a typical ESB or brown ale. Feel; Medium carbonation; near medium body seems slightly thin; semi-dry finish. O: a fine ESB worth seeking out.

Atlanta, Ga. - Tower Beer, Wine & Spirits - 500 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy light copper pour, light off-white filmy head. Aroma has some light molasses notes, a hint of orange marmalade. Flavor has a nice subtle bitterness to it with some light citrus notes, a touch of dates and molasses, a touch of yeast and honey. Mouthfeel has a nice smoothness to it., Session worthy.

Appearance: Clear amber with finger thick soapy white head. Aroma: Bread, cereal, syrup/caramel, raisin, peppery, note of skunk. Taste: Low/medium sweet, medium bitterness and low sourness. Palate: Thin smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, lingering dry biscuity, cereal bitter finish. Comments: Tasty and slight lace.
