Pours a deep red-brown with a medium bubbly beige head. It soon settles as a lower, but much denser creamy head. Aroma is lightly roasted and some weak chocolate. Quite thin and watery. Weak flavour with roasted malts, light acidic, a touch of flowery hops and subdued chocolate. A bit too litlle of everything. yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 14, 2008 From cask at Charlies. Pours dark brown to black with a lasting tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malt. Dry malty flavour with a light acidic note. Light roasted note from the malt and a rather mild one. Roasted malt finish. Amazingly flavourful for 3%. Welldone. renffisch (384), london, Greater London, England Feb 23, 2008 half at 18th battersea beer festival. what can i say about this beer. It smells of terpentine and snails, looks ok, tastes of watered down mouldy nuts and is sour. But above all this it manages to be utterly bland. How? Why? and why me? fonefan (4062), Ulfborg, Denmark Feb 12, 2008 Cask (gravity) @ The National Winter Ales Festival 2008, Manchester, UK.
