Cask conditioned at Charlies. Dark brown coloured. Malty aroma with carmael notes. Sweetish malt flavour. Light and classic.

Pours a deep red-brown with a medium bubbly beige head. It soon settles as a lower, but much denser creamy head. Aroma is lightly roasted and some weak chocolate. Quite thin and watery. Weak flavour with roasted malts, light acidic, a touch of flowery hops and subdued chocolate. A bit too litlle of everything.

Apr 14, 2008 From cask at Charlies. Pours dark brown to black with a lasting tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malt. Dry malty flavour with a light acidic note. Light roasted note from the malt and a rather mild one. Roasted malt finish. Amazingly flavourful for 3%. Welldone.

Feb 23, 2008 half at 18th battersea beer festival. what can i say about this beer. It smells of terpentine and snails, looks ok, tastes of watered down mouldy nuts and is sour. But above all this it manages to be utterly bland. How? Why? and why me?

Feb 12, 2008 Cask (gravity) @ The National Winter Ales Festival 2008, Manchester, UK. Clear medium red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (180108)
