[Cask at GBBF 03] An opaque brown beer with a small brown disappearing head. The aroma is nutty with malt notes. The flavor starts on a pretty bitter note followed by a nice maltiness with a little note of roast malt. It ends on a pleasant bitterness. It is a little thin in the palate - probably because of the low alcohol content. All in all an average bitter.

Very dark brown; soft body; sweet, creamy, toffee, vaguely walnutty; finishes sweet with a hint of demerara.

From cask at Charlies. Pours dark brown to black with a lasting tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malt. Dry malty flavour with a light acidic note. Light roasted note from the malt and a rather mild one. Roasted malt finish. Amazingly flavourful for 3%. Welldone.

Cask@Kingston beer Festival. Not too bad, especially for a beer with 3% alcohol. Some Vanilla, figs, roasted malt, chocolate. Quite subtle, perhaps a little too much so, creamy, sweetish, with a dry finish.
