Cask; Special.
Miss Russia is Batemans next Miss World themed beer for Russia’s Labour Day 3rd May. A.B.V. 4.1% thirst quenching delicately citrus ale with a light crisp character and golden colour. Miss World Beers are beers representing National Beauties from all corners of the globe, each depicting a relative event in the month it appears. The pictorial pump clips are fun and humorous very tongue in cheek.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small off white head. Old fashioned malt aroma. Malty taste, slightly toasted, with a hint of fruit and a mid bitter finish. Decent middle of the road bitter. They claim the pumpclips of these Miss World beers are ’fun and humorous’. I find the pictures of obese women are inappropriate and diminish my respect for a very sound brewery.
