COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special - 2009
An amber-coloured pale ale. A hoppy beer with a spicy flavour; a peppery aroma at first with a sharp finish.

Cask in the bree louise. Alround rating: Appley sweet pale malt, quite minerally, dusty yeast, no hops to be seen. Poor conditon im reconing.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper gold with a small white head. Sweet, buttery, creamy caramel aroma. Taste has the same intense caramel maltiness: agricultural and old-fashioned, dusty like a windmill. Anything less South African would be hard to imagine. Mid bitter finish. I found the pumpclip extremely offensive and unfunny.

On Cask at The Trafalgar, London. Amber body. Malty nose. Thin head. Bitter tase, some oranges in it. Very creamy and smooth.

Cask at the George, Southwark. Amber with a thin white head; leafy hop aroma; light citrus flavour with some yeast and biscuity malts; sharp grapefruit bitterness to finish. A well-hopped pint.
