McTapps (4073) - Ruhrcity, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - AUG 30, 2014
Bottle bought at Morrisons in Newport. Pours out in a deep dark brown / blackish colour with very low head and medium body. Aroma of grandmothers chocolate. Taste of light coffee, toffee, milk chocolate (the cheap stuff), barley and light, sweetened cappuccino, Sugary-creamy hints. Not bad but not my kind of beer in the end.

Bottle shared with McTapps. I was a bit afraid this one would just live up from its chocolate. Well, no, it offers a lot of chocolate but there is also some toffee, caramel, malt and nuts in the game, too. Easily drinkable, very quaffy, sometimes a bit thin. Not your football ball but maybe something you would like to try after a fine win.

500 ml bottle. Pours a mostly clear toffee color with a small white head. A big sweet nose of vanilla and coffee. The flavor is super sweet vanilla and tobacco coffee, light roast, sugary, more milk coffee. Decent lighter beer.

Bottle, 330ml, 11C. Dark red with a small beige head. Aroma of mocha, light roast, vanilla. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Sweet mocha, not as much vanilla as suggested by the aroma. Caramel, hints of berries. Dryish moderately bitter finish. Pleasant but tentative.
