Mar 12, 2005 Peated malt nose somewhat subtle and vinous. hay and earty notes with grassy hop notes almost floral jasmine hint. Wood and toast on palate with some almost briney qualities. Nice and somewhat unrefined.

Mahogany colour. Smooky, woody, ashy nose. Stable and malty with bold mouthfeel. Above medium body and slightly fruity. Salty, peaty finish.

Nov 27, 2002 This Scottish peat beer is muddy brown in colour (quite apt). There is a slight smokiness, spiciness and biscuity roast malts. The finish is dry and stays for some time.
