Mahogany colour. Smooky, woody, ashy nose. Stable and malty with bold mouthfeel. Above medium body and slightly fruity. Salty, peaty finish. leaparsons (3898), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Nov 27, 2002 This Scottish peat beer is muddy brown in colour (quite apt). There is a slight smokiness, spiciness and biscuity roast malts. The finish is dry and stays for some time.
