Poured from the bottle, a light brown with a large frothy head. A light malty aroma. A very malty flavour, but a bit carbonated.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Reddish brown beer, with thin beige head. Bit of boiled sweet. Some nice nalts, ok in mouth. Good malts run on with a goodish pepper hop finish. Not as good as on draught. Again that boiled sweet flavour lets it down. Some brown sugar

Amber beer with a brief off-white head. Aroma was complex: first malt, then a hint of pepper, followed by a citric note. The taste was sweetish caramel malt with a mid bitter finish. A run of the mill session beer that wasn’t redeemed by the unpleasant leering Santa on the label.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2011 Bottled - An amber coloured beer with a pleasant whitish head. The aroma is malty and fruity, and there is some grassy hop. The taste has some orange fruity hop flavours together with some heavy malts. A little over busy in the mouth. Score 3.0

(on bottle)Not what I´m use to in this category; what a weak example. Very vague nose of roses and malts. Amber colour and no head. Watery mouthfeel and a average malty taste. Best part is the dry finish, making you finish the beer.

Bottle. Amber colour with a medium tan head. Caramel malty, nutty aroma and a sweet caramel malty, metal, light hoppy taste. Medium body and a sweet dry finish.

Bottle. Copper color with small head. Lightly malty and nutty, iron, weight is on the firm bitter finish. Lacks body, fizzy pasteurized mouthfeel. Pleasent enough but forgetable.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber practically without any head. Weak aroma of nuts and caramel. Soft, slightly sweet with a weak, hoppy finish. 291005

Bottle @ Fynske Øldage. Quite grainy aroma with notes of faint hops. Copper colored body with a small white head. Light malty flavor, with some sweetness. Boring.

A clear amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet nutty, slightly spicy and with slight notes of citrus. The flavor is malty and very nutty - almost burnt, combined with caramel, citrus and some spices.
