[Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. Flowery aroma. The flavour is flowery and fruity with a hoppy, grassy and dry finish.

Cask. Clear golden pour with a small white head. Light fruit and malt aroma. Flavour of light caramel and mild hoppy bitterness.

A sweet bitter with light citrus and lighter floral bitter. Mid, clear gold with lasting head. Decent.

Cask at Newcastle Beer Festival. Pale gold with a white steady head. Malty nose, hint of lemon. Stiff malt backbone with a lovely zest finish. Bit of toffee. Clean.

Tasted this in the Saltcot, Saltcoats (JDW) in April 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Pale amber in colour with a thin white head. Dusty hop flowers in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and decent lacing. Pale malt base gives a touch of tart gooseberry and lychees. Aftertaste is redolant with strong booming notes of citric hop resins which continue into the dry metallic finish. An ok spring ale but better examples out there.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and grassy. Crisp grassy, hay and herbal. Bone dry and solid bitter. Dry and very herbal bitter finish.

Clear golden pour with a lovely, stayin , frothy, white head. Arom ahs hay, grass, mild melon. Medium to low carbonation, very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is light milky, dry wheaty malts, light caramel, biscuity and light doughy. Good grassy bitterness in the finish. Not overly impressive, but very drinkable.

cask at the Beehive Inn in Edinburgh - Pours golden with heavy lacing typical of cask ales. There’s a mild malt aroma and a flavor is sweet bready malt with mild hops and a light, lingering bitterness. This brew is another mild, unremarkable bitter.

[Cask at the Biddestone Arms, Biddestone, nr Chippenham] Pours a dull pale amber with a moderate white head and a slight sparkle. Rather harsh citrus bitterness at first, followed by a hint of spice and some straw with a dry finish. Grew on me the more I drank, but still felt boring at the end. Still, it seems to have achieved one of the better marks I’ve given to this consistently poor brewer.

Cask, handpump at The Bell, Banbury, Oxon, Banbury Beer Festival CAMRA Mtg 20-04-10 Pours golden in colour, lightly malty in mouth but quite refreshing, some crispness comes through, clean tasting, lightly fruity. A pleasant beer that I was convinced I’d had before. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4
