Cask: Special - April. Part of the 2007 ""Mystic Brews"" series. Also available in 1996/97.
A hoppy beer with a pepper/spice character and a fruity finish. Spicy aroma at first, followed by citrus finish.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark amber with a creamy off-white head. Buttery malt aroma with a hint of honey. Sweet taste full of grainy golden syrup: like an all-butter flapjack. A little bitterness. This is Zodiac themed beer for the month of the star sign Taurus, described as one of their ’Mystic Brews’. While deploring the tacky marketing ploy, I enjoyed the beer.
