I quite liked this - fairly hoppy, agree that it has a slightly biscuity taste and fairly light - a tad flat.

Bottle from Morrisons. Biscuity, pale malts, caramalt, spicey gingerness backing. Taste is similar malty and a bit unbalanced.

Lovely clean copper colour, nice nose of, I think thats crystal malt, is it?? there’s also a good blast of fruity hops too...oh, and some spice as well. Good body with masses of sharp hoppy acidity and slightly sweet malt, a nice beer. Morrisons, a guest beer.

Bottled. Reddish amber with a slick of white suds. An almost onion-like sweatiness of hop resins and toffeeish malt coming across as it warms. Leafy, quinine bitter and aromatically malty after the swallow. Toffee, biscuit and fresh bread. Nice balance of hops and malt. But something’s not quite convincing about that bitterness.

Bottle. Golden beer with quite a yeasty and dry aroma. The flavour is smooth and toffee dry. Overall a very average beer.

Thinnish with a taste of rust and iron. I think I got a bad bottle.
