"A full flavored Pale Ale, having a predominantly fruity palate with malt overtones, a subtle hop character gives this Pale Ale a delicate overall palate, making a very drinkable beer."

Valju ale. Jonninjuotavaa vaikkei niin humalainen. Killin pubissa menis täydestä. Perus.

Pours clear reddish copper with a little white head. The aroma features floral, fruity British style hoppiness with a touch of toasty, bready maltiness. Taste is light sweet initially, later more bitter - but very moderately so. Bread and caramel provide the early flavours that carry surprisingly long; hoppy bitterness is fairly subdued. The palate is medium bodied, slick and drinkable. Decent but a bit basic ale.

Bottle bought at Morrisons in Newport / IOW. Pours out in a deep brown colour with low head and flat body. Aroma of light barley and raisins. Taste of malt, barley, cake, raisins and sweet torf. Sweet finish of rum raisins and prunes. Not bad but just too malty and sweet for me.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Had some high hopes but got really disappointed. Well, aromas of caramel, nuts, malt and a bit of hops but that big carbo kills everything fine in that beer. Not really satisfying.

50cl bottle, purchased from the Bateman?s brewery, Lincolnshire. Poured into a tulip glass. Dark amber colour with a small head which dissipates. Toffee notes. Some carbonation, lovely malt taste. Good dark ale.
