A beautiful beer. Floral and malty in the bouquet. Great wine type strains in the flavor. Great great brew. Harder to find, but definitely worth it.

Fantastic! Another Batemans cracker. Beautiful deep copper, good lasting head. Big complex flavour, but still well balanced, malt lingers on the finish and is joined by the bitter fruit of the hops. This is 6% from Morrison, Edinburgh, and has a label depicting the Battle of Trafalgar, I assume it is the same beer!

Lots of lovely malt flavour married with flowery hoppiness. Very well balanced, a lovely excample of English beer at its best.

Bottle from Morrison’s. Amber brown with beige head. Good aroma with apple, pear, banana, earth, big hop smack, sultana cake malt. Robust body with long fruity hop finish. Great.

Reddish brown colour, not much head. Wonderfull burnt malt followed by a light hop finish. Expensive in my neck of the woods.
