Unretired@The Railway, Hinckley. Fine laced brilliant gold slick with condition. Boiled lemon sweet aroma; decent flavour for Bateman’s with lemony bitterness, slight house aniseed, grass, soap and slender oak. Reasonable.

A simple bitter that they tried to make a bit more festive. Caramel brown colour with a light tan head. Smells of roast with a sweet fruity finish. Smooth and slightly frothy body. Tastes of caramel malt, some berries with a bitter sour finish and a lingering sourness aftertaste. Not that interesting
