A distinctive, well balanced bitter with a refreshingly dry bitterness and a pleasing hoppy finish.

Half pint from the Palmerston Arms in Peterborough: Poured clear orange withan off white fizzy head. Mild burnt malt aroma. Light butterscotch flavor with mild hops. Short light bitter finish. Watery.

Bottled for Aldi. Deepish copper, thin white head. Rich powerful nose of malt & fruit, full bodied with a malt dominated palate. Hoppy bitters appear on the finish. Good beer.

Hand pumped; a light-pale amber pint of beer, slightly cloudy; light, or actually little, gas, subtle effervescence; Bitter, in fact dry bitterness, hoppy taste.

cask at bon accord- pours golden yellow with a foamy thin head. nose is slightly sulfurous, manouer, butterscotch butter, toast, stomache acid? tastes slightly thin dry hoppy goodness, slightly sour and a bit stale and off putting. not really what i was hoping for.
