3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is a little musty, but mostly malt. Flavor is light, mostly malt and a little thin in body. Not bad, definitely about standard for the style, good for a session.

Hints of dates, dark toffee, licorice and caramel. Subtle aftertaste. Hadn’t expected to like this but yeah, it’s rather good.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was sweet malts, nutty with some fruity and floral hops. The flavor opens with light sweet malts and citrus. Light bitterness soon follows. This seems to have some age on it. Medium bodied, smooth, just not very exciting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2015 From the bottle, tulip glass. Just a little bit cloudy, rose wine onion red colour. Metallic aftertaste, which is never good, if you ask me, even when is slight. Almost no head. Fruit and pecan, woody character. Sweet malt dominates. English bitter, probably much better form the cask.

Hazy amber with medium light beige short lasting head. Luscious fruity caramel malt, toffee and some woody aromas. Start is mostly rawish medium dry bitter and a touch of malt. Smooth thinnish mouth feel with dry bitter flavours and some spicey hints in the finish. Lotsa nice brit bitter character.
