Pours very dark red with a low tan head. Aroma is light, roasted malts with some ashtray. There’s some ashtray in the flavor too, but it’s mostly roasted malts. Decent.

Dark for sure - classic stout colour. Aromas are quite sweet and fruity at first and include hints of pear, raisin and vanilla. In taste, it is both bitter and dry, a little sour. The aftertaste is sweet but leaves a lingering burnt dryness. Medium body and fairly lively carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost opaque dark brown with a vague orange hue and a small off-white head. Quite some butter in the nose combined with heavy roast. Light body, heavy roast, again some butter with a bitter, roasty finish. Quite enjoyable if not for the roast. 030312

Bottle from K-citymarket, Kemi. Opaque very dark brown beer with disappearing off-white head. Delcious aroma of roasty malts. Taste is also roasty malts with coffee, no bitterness. Quite watery and light but otherwise good.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with a foamy head. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. Roasted, smooth and slightly fruity taste with notes of plain chocolate and coffee standing out. Not bad.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Viking Line Gabriella, 20111114) The beer poured almost black and it was clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had roasted malts, chocolate and ash. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, burnt malts, grass, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was dry and had roasted malts and bitterness. Nice and tasty stout despite the low ABV - a bit thin.
