Dark ruby brown, small disappearing head. Nose is dried fruits, little chocolate & toffee, wet wood, and like the label says, rum. Flavor is wood chips, herbal hops, coffee and some cohocolate, figs. Dry and herbal finish with cocoa. Medium bodied, almost flat palate. Nice woody porter, feels very traditional.

Cask. Porter appearance. Chocolaty, nutty scent with some straw also present. Watery. Some bitterness but not dry. Roasted nuts predominate. A bit bland but OK.

Dark ruby color, small tan head. Sweet caramelly nose, light aroma of coffee beans and menthol. "Menthol hops", caramel and light coffee also in the flavor. Some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. i suppose this is so called old style English porter.
