Hazy orange red, with a few big bubbles on the top. Watery and lightly sweet. I'm sure that this is better fresh.

Bottle. Amber color with a laced off-white head. Musty and light with a lack of malt base for the style. Slightly sweet.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nuffield (3087) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 27, 2003
Slightly hazy amber color. Some cream and vanilla flavors. Goes a bit limp and come across as thoroughly boring. Perhaps it is unfair to drink this alongside other, more compelling styles, but I've had a lot of bitter and this still doesn't excel within the style.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - DEC 18, 2003
4.8% ABV Amber color. Smooth, also since it's undercarbonated (which is a good thing…), but the light malt nose and the caramel flavor, the light sweetness, the low hopping are not enough convincing.

Bottle. Copper color with a small covering of light tan bubbles. Plum and malt aromas mingle with a hint of malt in the aroma. Mild sweet malt and touch of hops swim by in the light bodied quaff. Balanced - yes, memoriable - no.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 SilkTork (4736) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - APR 27, 2003
This is now available in bottle conditioned form at 4.8% abv. Nice head bringing forth a fresh yeasty aroma. The head soon settles inviting you to contemplate the dark amber teak oil colour. There is a small carbonation giving a fresh feel and a light tingle. Huge fruit flavours rather like an Abbot ale - orange with a light bitter zest. There is an attractive prange label with a rabbit illustration rather like that of the rabbit god from Watership Down. Nice hoppy finish. A decent quality bitter - very good in the bottle. Well conditioned.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ungstrup (23918) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 25, 2003
A light nutbrown or amber beer with no head. The aroma is weird with notes of hops, anise and pretty fresh. The flavor is carbonated, flat and pretty sweet of an OK maltblend containing münchner and caramel malt - the aftertaste is somewhat dry with a good bitterness. A pretty light beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - FEB 21, 2003
Great British ale. Nice deep copper color and a foamy tan head. Light sweet and hoppy nose and taste. Med toasted malt flavor end with a fresh, dainty hop finish. Maybe a little too subtle for my hop-head taste buds. Smooth and creamy with a superb balance.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 YogiBeera (2436) - Hamburg, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2003
Sweet cherry smell, also clay and malt. Amber color, little foamy head, soft carbonation. Malty and sour. Late medium bitter kick, dry finish. Nice and pleasant.
