Clear medium amber color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091122]

A light nutbrown or amber beer with no head. The aroma is weird with notes of hops, anise and pretty fresh. The flavor is carbonated, flat and pretty sweet of an OK maltblend containing münchner and caramel malt - the aftertaste is somewhat dry with a good bitterness. A pretty light beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a deep amber with a neat creamy head. Typical skewed British hops in the nose with a little roast. Medium body only, roasted malts, a little nuts and a vague fruity whiff. Finish is lightly bitter with a vague citrusy touch. 221109

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a nice off-white and creamy head. Aroma is vague butterish and caramelish/toffeeish malty. Light sweet malt base with a light herbal hoppy note from back of the tongue. Subdued fruity note. Ends lingering herbal hoppy and into a dry finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, hops, malts and some mild sweetness. Flavour is grassy, caramelly and slightly of vegetables. Lovely aroma, but flavour was a slight disappointment.

Amber color. Smooth, also since it's undercarbonated (which is a good thing…), but the light malt nose and the caramel flavor, the light sweetness, the low hopping are not enough convincing.

Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and fruity notes. Sweet flavor with caramel, toasted malt, fruits and mild hoppy notes leading it to at mild bitter finish.

Bottle. Fine best bitter, good hoppy aroma balanced by tasty slightly fruity malts leading to a hoppy end. Does exactly what you would expect a best bitter to do

Deep copper colour with no head. A balanced aroma between malt and hops. Has a malty taste and then you get the bitter hops in your mouth, leaving you with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste.
