Commercial Description:
Bottle conditioned. Also available in cask at 4.1%. Ratings for the cask version should be entered under Bath Gem (cask)

A rich aroma of hops and malt develops a full texture in the mouth. It has a long, deep, bitter-sweet finish. Without doubt an exceptional best bitter.

Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt. Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops.

A less than impressive ESB in the bottle. Floral, but musty biscuity nose, with some fruity hints of toffee as well. Very light bodied on the palate, with more toffee and fruit. Finishes clean and dry.

Slightly treacly aroma with some malt, nice golden amber colour and off white head which was quick to go.Leads onto a nice toffee flavour in the mouth with some back sweetness, pretty refreshing and a good refreshing beer.
