3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 chriso (7063) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2005
Deepish copper colour with a slight red tint. Modest fruity aroma. Plummy fruit and caramel flavour. Moderately sweet. Mild bitterness in the background, with a touch of dry malt coming through late. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. A pleasant enough, undemanding beer. A touch sweet and short of presence for my taste. Clean, but there’s nothing exceptional to grab the attention. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London.
