Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned at 4.8%. Ratings for the bottled version should be entered under Bath Gem (Bottle)

A rich aroma of hops and malt develops a full texture in the mouth. It has a long, deep, bitter-sweet finish. Without doubt an exceptional best bitter.

Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt. Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops.

No apprent hop aroma of real flavour. Malt charateristic is good though with caramel, bready, malty notes coming through. For a 4.1% best bitter its good, but nothing else to it really. clarity was good.
