Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, toffee, butter. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110819]

From cask at Standing Order. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small and lacing white head. Mild butterish and slight spiced aroma. Flavour has the same with a mild roasted note along with a light dryness. Bitter and slight malty finish.

Cask@O’Connells, Tampere. Golden colour, small creamy white head. Aroma is cooked vegetables, toffee, som nuttyness and nectar. Flavour is hops, cooked vegetables, sap and also some slight toffeeish and wooden notes. Finish was rather grassy.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden. Buttery nose. Mi sweet, fruity. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Butter and slight grass. Salty finish with some resin. Too much butter to be a good quencher.

Hazy golden color, frothy head. It has some malt aroma, and good malt flavor, good body strength. The hop is a bit citrusy, more evident in the aroma. It has a balanced final, with sweetish toffee and bold bitterness.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours clear golden with a bubbly off white head. Maadd butter all over. Thin. Undrinkable. .

Cask handpull at Humphrey Bean JDW, Tonbridge. Gold, thin white head. Aroma of diacetyl. OK im mouth, creamy, then ok hop on finish, but just full of butterscotch. Oh dear. Diacetyl all over it. Im guessing I will probably like it, if I can find a non diacetyl barrel some where. Pretty undrinkable for me. 1.6 out of 5 Rerate at County Hotel, Ashford. I wanted to have this again, as the times I had it before, it was full of diacetyl. Still a little bit of butter, but good condition in mouth, good bitter hop. Drinkable golden bitter, just a bit too buttery still.

Cask @ The Montagu Pyke, JDW. Soho WC2. Pours a clear golden color with a small longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty and slightly hoppy aroma. Fruity malty slighlty watery flavor with some hints of hops. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Rahter buttery nose with fruityness. Quite buttery on the palate too, with some fruityness and a pleasant bitterness. Medium body. Some bitterness in the finish. A very boring one, and not very good either. Might be interesting to try fresh from cask. 110819

Cask Handpump at the Hare & Hounds, Crowton 03/06/2009 Floral and hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured hoppy and pale with a little dryness and bitterness in a crisp and creamy malt finish.
