Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
This brew uses pale lager malt which gives it a wonderful golden hue. This is complemented by using a dwarf variety hop (First Gold) which imparts a prodominently citrus aroma. It is dry without harshness, crisp and full flavoured, a hugely refreshing bitter.

Cask (Salamander,Bath) - Golden in colour. Lightly hoppy aroma with grapefruit and some other fruity elements. Refreshing and pleasantly hoppy taste with grapefruit featuring prominently in the finish.

Cask at the Sir John Borlase Warren, Nottingham. This slightly hazy gold beer has a very enjoyable fruity aroma which is actually preferable to the flavour, which has a fruity start and a long dry finish. However, the flavour is somewhat faint. Nevertheless, this is a decent beer to sip on a sunny evening in Nottingham’s best beer garden.

Cask a the Sir John Borlase Warren, Nottingham. Aroma of hops and grass, through very weak. There’s a touch of fruit at the start that I though was melon but the flavour is predominantly bitter that lasts and lasts. Good first beer.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A golden coloured ber with off-white bubbles for a head. The aroma is a little grassy and the taste is very bitter indeed. Not so much hoppy just a pretty sharp bitterness. Not for glugging but nice enough.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt as well as medium notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of hops and grass. Fine.

Cask in 3 judges. Aroma is minimal, grassy hop, pale malts, bittering hop. Taste is similar, light and easy going but a bit of old cellar thrown in there.

On draught @ The Mansion, London 26/07/09 A floral blond beer from this consistently good brewer. Pale gold with a thick albeit small head. Citrus nose. Liberally hopped but not terribly complex. However a good session or summer beer.
