2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear pale amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of light toffee, some butter, slight apple, orange and maybe subtle honey. Taste is similar of light toffee, some butter, orange, slight grapefruit, honey, apple and dry biscuit. Light bodied and a smooth texture. A dry, biscuity finish. An inoffensive golden ale, slightly buttery. Some nice fruit and citrus flavours though.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2013 Fuzzy yellow-orange beer, not all that much to it. Bitter-sour taste, a bit of honey follows on with a bitter finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale, a touch of hop, light and refreshing, good in summer as advertised, but nothing too interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
Floral hops and biscuit-y malt angles lead to leafy hop bitterness in this predictable but nonetheless very friendly Golden Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the bright honey gold.
-Drinkability is through the roof.
-All flavours are clearly expressed.
-Flavor dosage is meant for long evenings of conversation, not high impact sips.
-Malts are nicely developed, as in every Bath Ales brew Iíve had.
On cask at The Salamander, Bath

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask @ The North Pole. Pours clear light amber with a small white head. The nose is light apricot, some sweet baked bread, mild grain. Simple. The taste is summer fruits, light citrus, sweet pale malt. Mild bitter finish. Light body, soft carb. Decent. A nice, simple beer. Not taxing. Would be good with food etc.
