A great golden beer with a fresh citrus, hoppy aroma. This wonderful wholesome organic ale has a dry and bitter finish which brings you right back to earth.

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK. Medium gold, pine and citrus aroma. Mild carbonation, creamy then a heavy bitterness on the finish. Resin and a bit of skunkiness round it out.

500ml bottle. Fine & fading fizzy white head; clear, light golden body with moderate surface carbonation. Tangy orange and lemon green hop overall character wth some light, dry graininess on the tongue. Light to medium body and medium carbonation with a short, dry & mild bitterness. Lingering dry tangy fruitiness.

Bottle from Beermerchants. Pours clear golden with a weak supported white head. Aroma of weak citric hops. Taste is slightly on the bitter side with good defined grassy hops, but there is a moderate taste of butterscoth present here, spoiling this beer for me.

Not much head at all. Golden brown colour. Toffee and fruit aromas. The scent of toffee is escpecially strong. Soft and smooth mouthfeel. A little bit of herbs there. Some maltyness and bitterness too.

Pyobon (978) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 30, 2010
Bottle. Clear pale golden / straw with decent white head. Aroma started off with honey and vegetable notes and towards the end had hot butter or butterscotch. Thin body and coarse fizzy carbonation. Flavour has bread with some indeterminate sweet and sour flavours and a little bitterness in the finish. OK but not terribly special.

Bottle, bought @ Beermerchants.com.
Pours clear dark golden with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has butterscotch, malts, light sweetness. Low carbonation, a tad thin but with good dryness. Flavour maintains a fair deal of butterscotch, sweetness, maltiness, light herbal liqourice and a fine floral bitterness. Too bad about the butter - would otherwise have been nice.

Clear bright yellow pour. White head. Aroma is sirup, bread and butterscotch. Taste is a bit generic brittish with both sweet and bitter flavour. Thin body. Dry finish. One of the better organic beers though.

Slightly cloudy, golden beer with weak and white head. Aroma is strongly grassy, sweet malts and overally aroma is quite fresh and aromatic. Flavour is malty, some aromatic hops, hint of lemon, bitterness that turns end more dryer. Quite fresh and medium palate. Nothing to irritates but also nothing interesting nuancees in this beer.
