Bottle. Small and quickly disappearing white head. Hazy yellow to light brown body. Fruity caramel aroma, relatively sweet. Flavour though rather sharp and bitter. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Sep 5, 2008 Cask (Salamander,Bath) - Golden in colour. Honey in the aroma which is also lightly hoppy and fruity. Fairly hoppy and bitter at first, the taste then becomes more fruity with some grapefruit in the finish.

Jun 22, 2008 Bottle, Renatos Pizza joint, Bristol ; (was pleasantly surprised to see Orval in their fridge) Poured a golden colour with an off white head that didn’t linger. Aroma was a fragrant mix of citrus and hop, wee bit of grassiness too. Well poised this fella, with malt and hops tangling nicely to make this a drinkable effort. Dry bitter hop finish. Niice.

Jun 8, 2008 lovely bottle from nelsons. Gloden and a tantalising white lacy full on creamy head. really like this one. bit musky in smell but gorgeous and well worth it in flavour. beautiful bitter notes and generally a beautiful pint. definitely the best organic so far.

May 23, 2008 Cask at The Market Porter, London. Light floral? hop aroma. Golden color with a white head. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Fruity flavor - touch of grapefruit. Really refreshing. Very tasty. Excellent.
