A golden orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A light aroma of citrusy hops, but also a little vegetal. The taste is dry, a little alcoholic kick is supported by a citrus fruit flavour, that does have a hint of cabbage too! A dry finish. (Cask - 2007 Peterborough Beer Festival).

Nice golden colour with medium head. A fair amount of carbonation. Hops and citrus aromas. Nice citrusy flavour. Dry and refreshing.

A rating from an old notebook. Bottle. Hazy gold with a tiny white head. A hoppy beer with a surprisingly bitter finish. Moreish.

Bottle. The aroma is lovely and spicy. A nice fresh sweet noble hop character and some pale malt. A bit of light fruit sweetness. A bit of crackery character. Nice stuff.

Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and light yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 050711

Medium very white head. Slightly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Earthy mineraly herbal aroma with vaguely fruity notes. Dry-sweetish mineraly resiny strawy taste with earthy notes. 50cL bottle. pours light yellow-gold. Smells of light citrus and hops. Tastes is rather light and delicate -- notes of citrus, pine, and hops -- well balanced and somewhat lethargic, flavor is not in-your-face. Very drinkable. Light and somewhat subtle.
