Draught at The Vine, Bull & Bladder (Brewery Tap), Brierly Hill. Dark brown with thin beige head. One of the very best examples of West Midlands Mild left, dark roasted malt almost nutty, with overlying sweet malts and fruit. A refreshing treat.

Bathams Mild is another one of my favourites. The Plough at Shenstone is the best place to get a fabulous pint of mild. Although not as strong as the bitter the mild is still a fantastic drink.
