330ml bottle bought from djoeye. A solid white head reduced to a patchy layer. Golden body with a slight haze. Spotty lacing down the glass. Modest herbal hops, honey sweetness and yeast on the nose. The taste profile is dominated by candy fruits, moments of honey, peach and yeast. Ends with a bittersweet touch. Soft on the swallow. Medium bodied. Okay paring with a salty meat soup (Tromsø 21.08.2016).

Bottle 33cl. Pored into a tumbler. Clear medium golden, good foamy white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing; sweet malty nose, grain, bit flowery, yeast; taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, fruity, yeasty, candy sugar, light spicy notes; sugary sweetbitter aftertaste, bit peppery; medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation; no finesse, too sweet, meh.

Alengrin (4467) - BELGIUM - JUL 11, 2016
Draught at a pub in Bastogne. Thick, frothy, dense, regulary shaped, thickly lacing, beaten-egg like head, clear ’old gold’ colour with lively sparkling. Aroma suffers a bit from DMS (cooked white cabbage) but fortunately not overpowering, other impressions include white bread, grass, apple peel, sweetbread, fresh fish, plastic and banana. Restrained fruity onset, some peach and a light banana touch, strongish and somewhat ’souring’ carbonation, supple body, light bready malt middle, bit metallic too, somewhat resinous ending with grassy and herbal hop bitterish touch but the malt sweetness and light banana ester linger. Stereotypical ’Belgian’ blonde intended to commercially rival pale lager.

33 cl. bottle at home. Medium high fluffy white lasting head. Clear yellow golden body. Very sweet flowery apple pear honey straw aroma with a mild touch of lemon. Highly carbonated sweet and candylike apple pear honey and something I cant really figure out. Lillte hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish.

djoeye (3444) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 31, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2016 Look; clear golden, pale offwhite head. Aroma; malt, fruit, honey-toffee note. Taste; toffee malts, fruit, yeast, citrus - leading to a malty citric fruity finish. Feel; wellbodied, too much carbonation. Overall; nice representative for Luxemburg. [33cl btl, abv6.3%, BB.04.01.17]

Bottled, 330ml at Dikkricher Stuff, Diekirch, Luxembourg. Gold with white head. Thin, boiled malts, toffee, caramel. Musty CO2 note. Just okay.
