3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Very hazy golden with off white head. Aroma of straw, yeast, honey, peaches, lemon and a hint of bananas. Sweet flavour with lots of maltiness. There’s a decent amount of bitterness as well to make this beer acceptable as a thirst quencher. it does taste a bit more alcoholic than it is, which leads to me drinking it a bit slower, thus making me able to last as if I was 17 again. Hats off to a beer that makes me feel young, but overall this is just an above average beer. Most interesting beer I’ve had from Luxembourg though.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle from Auchan. Appealing amber appearance with a tight white head. Cardboard aroma, stale papier mache, sugary. Medium carbonation, quite pleasing on the palate. Flavour is cloyingly sweet - some fruit candy sweetness, but mostly just tooth-melting white sugar. Nasty.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. Aromas of malt, basement, floral, yeast notes develop. Some carbonated texture with a light-medium body. Sweet-bitter and medium finish.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml bottle served in a small Leffe chalice.
Enjoyed at Luxembourg airport.
A: Pours a clear dark yellow to orange (golden) color forming a medium, bubbled and soapy white head. Medium retention and lots of molasses and lingering lacings left in the glass. A thin layer remains forever on its surface
S: Sweet, fruity and malty. Reminds a Leffe Blond. Strong notes of pale malts, honey, belgian candi sugar and spices. Strong belgian style bready yeasts
T: Pretty much as the nose. Sweet upfront. Very grainy and fruity. Strong notes of pale malts, honey, caramel, candi sugar and spices like cloves. Some notes of peaches and oranges. Yeasts are very bready, belgian style. Reminds Leffe Blond in the mouth too. Light bitterness in the end
M: Medium, creamy and a a bit molasses body. Sweet grains in the aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Classic belgian ale made in Luxembourg

Again a big thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Shy malty aroma. Starts dry-malty, some fruity notes of apricot, light metallically background. Finish more dry, a bit boring malty. Okay.

Bottle thnx to Dorien
Pours clear blonde, very big white head
Smell is chemical maltyness .
Taste is sweet, corny , some malts, bit metallic . Some bitterness. rather thick mouthfeel for this type of beer, but feels boozier than 6,6

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Fresh malty nose. The beer starts sweet-strange. Herbal hints with fresh malty grain. Smooth with a nice herbal bitterness. For me a bit too sweetish. The aftertaste is fresh herbal with a moderate sweetness and bitterness. Interesting...

Het flesje ziet er al goedkoop uit en zo smaakt het bier eigenlijk ook. Een betere aldi-pils.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle, Luxembourg Airport, 9 July 2014) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, orange, candy sugar and spices. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, candy sugar and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and spicy, possibly a touch too sweet. Quite enjoyable.
