The other beer that I bought from Threshers in Malvern as part of their buy local campaign. Another excellent choice. Very clear with a sharp refreshing taste. Some hoppiness and quite bitter. Reminded me of a good IPA.
The standard of beers produced from English micro’s continues to impress. This is certainly a classy bottled beer.

Bottle at DØE. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, fruit, hops and caramel.

Bottle @ DØE Øl Festival 2012. Dark amber with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops and a little grass. Flavour is malt, fruit, hips, medium sweet, little caramel, grass and medium bitter.

Fruity aroma of hops, grass, caramel and tea.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2012. Pours clear golden with a off white head. Paper, grain, caramel and a whiff of diacetyl. Medium bodied.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Nutty, chicory aroma. Medium body, crystal malts and nuts with hardly any hops. But easy going and enjoyable. 110512
