I have to say this was much nicer than I expected. Average in terms of appearance, and lacks aroma, but is extremely easy to drink and is pretty tasty on top of that. Impressed.

Thin golden color, no head. Generous flavor--fruit (apricot, tangerine) and it lets out more aromas (pear) as it warms. Some caramel, too. A little watery/thing. But for 3.8%, it’s a very good beer. A little vinegar in the end. (cask, Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford, June 2012)

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet Bf 2012. Clear gold virtually no head. Aroma of some hop and some light toffee. Its a little light in flavour but then it is supposed to be a californian common. Some hop dryness on end. Ok if a touch bland.
