Bottle. Brown and better bottled than other beers of theres that I have tred Reasonably complex with a hint of pefumery tastes. Despite this still not a very impressive beer.

Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Amber gold with a thin head. Aromas are toffee and fudge malts with raspberry and some nuttiness. Flavours are sweet fudge with citrus. Hoppy and a little like London Pride. Good.

Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Cherry red under a thinning sheet of froth. Fragrant blackcurrant and sticky dried fig and caramel aroma. Clean and creamily figgy with red berry notes, strawberry, blackcurrant. Lingering bread and pistachio with a shaving of cocoa. Rounded hops and malt. Fresh and excellent bitter ticking all the right boxes.

Cask at Coventry Beer Festival 08, branded as ’Battlefield Henry Tudor’. Copper amber. Unpleasant vegetal aroma and a hint of sulphur. Hoppy taste, too much fizz, worst of the festival I’m sorry to say. Tunnel have done no favours to the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre with this commemorative disaster.
