Golden amber with a soft, short lasting, foamy white head. Bit cloudy. Light body. Really nice initial aroma of toffee apples and caramel. Flavour has quite sweet malt and fruit and yes, it has some sourness. It’s not a bad session beer and I guess the recipe has improved since some of the earlier reviews which are a few years old.

Cask@The Criterion, Leicester. Amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is dry and fruity, and the flavour is fruity with some bitter dryness. Overall a good drinkable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask conditioned handpump Lamplighter Northampton. A hazy amber coloured beer. Sweet but with on the turn acidity. Fruity notes thorugh the problems. The haze suggests yeast slurry bottom of the barrel, but I’ve had enough poor beers from Tunnel to know that that might not be the only reason for the off flavours.

Orange amber, hazy with a lot of sediment. Aroma is not appealing: raw chestnut and a curious vegetal whiff of tomato. Taste is the usual Tunnel gluey sourness rather overwhelming sweet, nutty malt and mid bitterness.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, sour - tart, light to moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet, light to moderate acidic and sour milk with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081003]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours almost fully clear golden and with a creamy one finger thick white head. Floral and soapy aroma. Acidic to citric flavour with a mild floral note. Medium sweet and plain citric into the finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear golden with a rough, white head. Very perfumy floral nose. Light-bodied, fruity accents and a distinct acidity all through the finish. 031008

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet fruity combined with a weird acidity. The flavor is acidic with strong notes of fruit - peaches and oranges, leading to a dry acidic finish. Thanks fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.

Bottle. Citric aroma. Hazy dark golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite citric, there is some fruitiness, strawberry. Too citric.

Bottle. This is one of the reasons why people drink bottles of cider. Orange with the sediment at the bottom of the bottle which was a bit off putting.Acidic and vinegary it also boasts the :" CAMRA says this is real ale"-perhaps CAMRA should check the quality before applying the logo. Bought at the Royal Show 2008.Quite expensive although virtually any price would have been robbery.
