COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle Conditioned, occasional;
This pale ale is brewed in the traditional manner using only the finest quality ingredients. It starts with a smooth fruitiness on the tongue closely followed by a malty mouthfeel and finishes with a slight hint of refreshing spicy hops.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Swan & Rushes Leicester A copper coloured beer with off white bubbles for a head. A crisp fruity grassy aroma. Crisp and clean in the mouth with hints of citrus. Plain but likeable

Bottle. Golden with a thin foam. Aromas are grain with lemon. Quite jammy with caramel and biscuit. Flavours are sweet grain with hints of caramel. Soft lemon with some associated sourness. OK.

Bottle. Lively upon opening with a cloudy orange appearance. Reminded me of sludge and it was one rare occasions when i struggled to finish a beer off. Very poor.

If only Tunnel could sort their bottling out they could conquer the world. Well, the bit of it in North Warwickshire anyway. If I didnt know how lip-smackingly good their beers can be at source, I’d probably slate this. Pondwater flat orange pour slicked with white. Superb leafy green hop aroma fleshy with mango and grapefruit (Amarillo?). Flavour follows on with bags of soft tropical citrus, crackerbread/ Malted Milk softness and wheat. A fine-tasting, juicily hopped GA (?) with a hint of Abbeydale about it. The merest tickle of carbonation would probably push it into my top... couple of hundred. Annoying.
