3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - APR 10, 2011
Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Hazy amber color; medium sized head, not very persistent. The aroma, Bretty, is harmonious, fruity, with very nice smell of old cellar, spices (pepper) and very light Asian grocery; powerful. Highly carbonated, with a flowery malt profile, dry; a bit fruity; the final is hard, astringent, with limited acidity. Pleasant, but chaotic.

Hazy amber. Thin head. Slightly earthy herbal soft tart aroma. Tart-sweet character is soft and lightly spicy/yeasty. Good beer - easy drinking but not as assertively JP as I might prefer. Still, with subtlety and style it’s good to see drinking well is so effortless these days.
