Bottle; Pour is fairly clear, medium dark golden with some amber highlights- a fine bubbled off white head here - with some sticky lacing - retains fairly well Unfortunately.. this bottle was a gusher... So over carbonation aside - the nose begins with some obvious florals, with some funky jolly pumpkin proprietary yeast note.. as I like to describe it. Some fruits perhaps, and a light spicing - The flavor profile begins with more florals from the flower treatment, light fruits like peaches - there is a cream from the head here- quite nice - and more funk and dustiness .. but there’s also a general sweetness that I’m pulling- apples and caramel, perhaps.

Hazy, deep amber coloured body with a ruby glow and large tan head. Aroma of coriander seed, flowers, light spice, a touch of malt, a little sugar and the noticeable yeast usually shown in JP beers. Medium-bodied; Malty flavour with quite a bit of floral notes, some subdued sweetness and a pungent and perhaps too strong spiciness. Aftertaste shows some alcohol, a touch of the yeast and a sour quality, but the spices really show through. Overall, a nice beer for sure, but not as great as I expected - perhaps too high of expectations. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Bottle: Breaking in new passion, new noise. Hazy red-orange beer with a funky off-white head. Flowery, lightly tart, perfumery aroma with notes of rose hips, hibiscus, horse saddle. Taste is sweet, slightly tart, flowery, light bitter. Breaking in new passion, new noise. Well made, all though not exactly revolutionary.
