Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!) Dark amber coloured, small off-white head, sour cherries in the nose. The taste is moderate malty with mildly sour cherries. Odd and interesting but a bit artificial.

friss sör régi, vacak címkével érkezik, hamarosan lesz új. Nagyon erős illata van. Meghatározhatatlan eredetű, határozottan meggyes, fullasztó, kicsit szintetikus-gyanús illat. A kitöltött sörnek csípős, üde meggyszaga van – kétféle meggy is van benne – egy szolid igazi, meg egy feketemeggy-sűrítmény. Szép habja van, de hamar múlik, ez állítólag még fejlődni fog. Érdekes ital, eleve nagyon szárazon kezdődik, aztán savanyú is. Szokatlan ízei vannak - vörösboros, Unicumos, parfümös alkoholosság uralja. Csak a legvégén édes, de akkor már keserű is a komlótól. Igencsak egyedi koncepció – szigorú alkopop. Gyümölcssör férfiaknak, akik bírják az italt – én nem biztos, hogy közéjük tartozom, mert a Bauer Feketemeggyes délutáni kóstolgatása során egy pillanat alatta fejembe száll és hülyén vigyorgok a sörmesterre, miközben elismerően bólogatok. Közben nagyon itatja is magát, veszélyes ital, de lehet, hogy csak nekem újdonság. Értem az indulatot, de az az igazság, hogy alkopopnak, gyümölcsös sörnek kicsit durva, a meggy fanyarsága keményen átüt, viszont eredeti és brutál, a barna bock alap mélységet és erőt kölcsönöz neki, van benne svung, lehetne ez a műfaj a magyar gyümölcssör, és mivel nem édes, el tudom képzelni, hogy rendes magyaros fogásokhoz is jól megy – ezt még majd tesztelni kellene.

0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, huge thanks for giving away this one! It poured red-brownish body with small head. Nice craft beer aroma of sour cherry, slightly earthy as well. Sourish flavor, also dominated by cherry, very nice and pleasant with some ginger spice and vanilla malt sweetness, especially felt at the finish, which itself was long and really pleasantly balanced. Alcohol is not felt at all, didn’t check it out so was very surprised now when I see its high content! Interesting and tasty brew from our neighbors, very well worth drinking!

Poured a darker copper body with an off white head. Weak, slightly acidic cherry nose. Odd soft malty and cherry taste, not bad but just... odd? Actually gets better later on, carrying notes of vanilla sugar. Hmm... Yeah, this is certainly interesting.

Tap at the brewery in a PET and taked away, tasted at home.
Poured opalescent reddish-brown with a minimal offwhite head that diminishes quiskly, disappeares fully. Spicy aroma of sour cherry and some cinnamon, some caramel in the background, moderated roasted character. Medium bodied beer with caramel and toasted grains, mild hop. A sourish cherry character rules the flavor, light spicy cinnamon in the taste. Dry fruity aftertaste. Interesting.
