Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Smooth fresh and malty beer. Sweetish, smooth, malty-sweetish, slightly bitter, full-bodied, smooth, slightly alcoholic, nice.

Screw-cap bottle (kindly delivered by Mariusz!): Golden with a greenish haze, medium-sized White and stable head; nutty and bisquity nose, supported by a mild herbal hoppiness; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; much drier and hoppier finish. Very well balanced, well drinkable...

330ml bottle [Owed to bartlebier, thank you very much!]. Minimally cloudy, yelloish golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting and lacing, white head. Grassy hoppy aroma on slightly spicy pale malty basis, hints of white bread crust. Taste is dry hoppy and pale malty, hints of green apple, a touch of sparkling wine, except for a banana touch not much residual sweetness; nevertheless slightly sticky palate. Might be a suitable fig mustard surrogate with cheese.

500 ml bottle. BB 28/09/14. From a trade with kevnic2008. Congrats and thanks Mariusz!
Cloudy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Looks like a English Pale Ale from a cask. And the aroma ain’t far from that. Mild fruity sweetness, malt and some... What am I drinking? The flavour is fruity hops, mild bitterness, malt, sweetness and alcohol kick... This is something else that I expected. A very nice surprise. The alcohol is not that hidden.

Aroma: resin; Appearance: clear urine, minimal head; Taste: mighty sweetness, slight sourness; Palate: abrupt finish, oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation A fruity ludicrously sweet Bock with well hidden alcohol - however it’s not the strength that makes you stop at the first one - it’s definitely the sweetness.

33cl bottle bb08/2014, Edeka Hbf. Like this part of Baden, the label seems comfortably stuck in the 80s, the baby blue reminding me of my junior handball shirt. Nose of apple, with slight glueish abv wafts. Taste is prominently grass-hoppy, with a sharp edge, countered by almond honey sweet malts, flowing down on a strangely oily yet dry palate. Lingering fruit-bitter finish as if licking the inside of an unripe banana peel, back in the 80s... That notwithstanding: nothing to wax too lyrical about or redeeming of the grandpa Maibock genre.
