The beer in the glass is gorgeous ruby red with a flat head. It smells malty, roasty, dark fruits and licorice. Starts with lots of dark fruit, roasted malts, some chocolate and licorice. In the background, a subtle alcohol note is noticeable. The middle part is somewhat alcoholic, fruity and very roasty with lots of dark malts. The beer goes into a roasty, malty, slightly alcoholic and dark-malty, fruity finish!

Bottle. dark brown color. Chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Full bodied. Caramlly sweet, slightly alcoholic flavor with notes of milk chocolate. Tasty!

The bottle is probably one of the heaviest 330 ml bottles in the world. Dark reddish brown colour with small tan head. Dark malty aroma with some sweet caramel, fruits and mild hoppy bitterness. Flavour is dark fruits, sweetness, malt and touch of hops. Dry aftertaste. Had to weigh the bottle. 378 g.

Pours clear ruby red color with a small head. Aroma is very sweet with syrup, raisins, caramel, mild toffee notes, ripe fruits and some malts. Flavor of dark berries, syrup, some honey, caramel, malts and mild resiny notes. Slick and quite thick palate. Decent but a tad too sweet.

Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, bread, caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, burnt caramel, caramelized malt - sugar, caramel, brown sugar, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120727]

330ml bottle. Clear dark reddish brown colour with small, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, off-white head. Minimally sweet toasty caramel malty aroma, with a decent dry, grassy overtone. Taste is minimally sweet, minimally toasted caramel malty, a minimally spicy touch.

from bottle. pours a slightly hazy, deep red colour and a frothy beige to brown head that lasts quite a while. aromas of roasted malt, milk chocolate, some dark bread and berries. smells like a chocolate/dark fruit ice cream. very nice! medium to full body, average carbonation and creamy mouthfeel, chocolate and berry flavours all the way. great bock with a long lasting chocolate and nuts aftertaste. great bock that is way better than expected and a positive surprise!

Bottled@PBF2012. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild bready notes, mild rye as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some alcohol, mild breadyness as well as some slight wooden and not-too-sweet syrupy notes.

Deep ruby color, small beige head. Sweet nutty and bready aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Sweet and nutty, some woody notes. Almost vanilla notes. Decent bock,
